Welcome aboard, matey. This 'ere be Cap'n Cognito's flagship.

During his escape from a Bristol Prison, Captain Cognito commandeered the Royal Navy vessel HMS Duke while she was berthed close to executioners rock. The ship was a 50-gun Sloop. The Captain and a group of condemned Cutthroats made good their escape and headed for the Caribbean to seek fortune and fame. On route, Coggy renamed his Sloop to the Grim Reaper and the hardy ship was one that he used in his attack on the Spanish stronghold of Cartagena, back in February 1640.

The ship had extensive repairs made to her after her run in with Arturo Venganza's Spanish War Galleon near Belize. She also fought alongside Captain Maniac Moose's Baron Boat during a battle off the Cayman Islands against that notorious sea wench, Captain Kat. Alas, Cognito and Moose were defeated on that thar occasion and Coggy had to surrender his beloved vessel to the victorious hag.

After Captain Kat had held her victory celebrations aboard the battered ship, Coggy took possession of it again and has since had it berthed here in Tortuga where she is undergoing a major refit - and name change. The hardy Sloop is now known as Hell's Fury.

Coggy's new ship is a 100-gun Fast Galleon taken during the battle of Pueto Bello, and she now bears the same name as her predecessor -

The Grim Reaper.
